What do you consider the most difficult challenge facing this office and how would you address this challenge?
The first legislation that I will sponsor is reducing the term of council to 2 years.
This will require voter approval to change the City charter.
The change will create more accountability, and stop the game playing on Council. If you lose an election you should be off council.

Education: John Carroll University, B.A.
Qualifications for This Office: I have lived in Mentor over 20 years and have seen the changes. I would like to apply me education to the City during these troubled economic times.
What do you consider the most difficult challenge facing this office and how would you address this challenge?
Contentious council members who advance personal agendas instead of considering the overall needs of Mentor. I would bring a fresh voice and perspective to council, and the ability to work with all members. Stubborn members have let Mentor remain in turmoil resulting from the recent city manager's curiously timed resignation.

What do you consider the most difficult challenge facing this office and how would you address this challenge? The most difficult challenge will be developing a harmonious Council that will work with the administration in the best interest of the City. Currently, the Council is badly divided. I have, and believe I could work successfully with all of the present Council members in making the City better.

Qualifications for This Office: I ran for office in 1999 in Mentor/Also ran for a council seat in 1989 in Eastlake losing by 1 vote.
What do you consider the most difficult challenge facing this office and how would you address this challenge?
Keeping the voting rights in the eyes of the residents? I believe the residents should have a say. Like we vote for a resident to run for council, when he wins and wants to run for another seat? And he wins that seat! The council votes in another person! The residents don't vote who they want. This needs to change!
