What do you consider the most difficult challenge facing this office and how would you address this challenge?
Three challenges face this office, improving the environment and image of the city, monitoring the re-regulation of electric power, and improving communication between council, city residents and administration. To address the issues I will promote business development, recruit and retain residents, use mediation skills to listen and negotiate solution-focused answers.

What do you consider the most difficult challenge facing this office and how would you address this challenge?
There are three areas that are most challenging. They are Safety and Security, Economic Development, and Maintaining Homes and Businesses in Painesville. We need to continue to grow our economic base so that we have the resources to provide equipment, training and personnel to protect our residences.

Providing the leadership to bring council together as a working group to make sound decisions. The current council is not functioning due to personal differences.
Rebuilding neighborhoods divided by absentee landlord controlled rentals. Rebuilding neighborhood pride lost by years of little or no code enforcement of property maintenance.

We must live with our means. We must provide city services for the health and safety of our families with less money, maintain low utility rates and promote a people oriented government. I will stay in touch with peoples' concerns, provide goal-oriented leadership and demand efficient city operations.

What do you consider the most difficult challenge facing this office and how would you address this challenge?
To make Painesville a city of opportunities, and the quality of life better for our residents. Full time grant writer to obtain monies for a structured program for streets, sidewalks and sewers where flooding problems exist, outreach programs to bring industry and retail. Permanent housing committee to view property directives to improve our community.
