What do you consider the most difficult challenge facing this office and how would you address this challenge?

School district financial stability cannot be maintained through property taxes. It is unlikely that the State of Ohio will increase its' share of funding. Innovative programs must be developed with business partners to creatively supplement shrinking revenue streams. I will initiate discussions with local community partners to jump-start this process.

Space issues within the schools.
I would address it with a short and long term resolution. In the short term, I would look at adding more trailers. The longer term would be options for a permanent structure.

What do you consider the most difficult challenge facing this office and how would you address this challenge?

Most difficult challenge facing me if elected to the Riverside School Board is to determine with the help of the other Board members and administrators on how to turn the 3 year tide of declining test scores around. This must be done while controlling expenditures in order to prevent future deficit spending.

We are growing. In my 8 years we have gone from 4000 to 5000 students. We need to develop solutions to our overcrowding that are permanent and cost-effective.
