Occupation: Foreman Lake County Buildings and Grounds

Education: St. Joseph High School (Cleveland)
1 yr. Lakeland Community College

Qualifications for This Office:
Wickliffe Sign review Board Vice-Chairman
25 yrs self-employed in the private sector and working in the government sector in Buildings and Grounds.
Experience in these two fields should help in knowledge with City Buildings and Parks, for budgeting money and understanding problems with employees

What do you consider the most difficult challenge facing this office and how would you address this challenge?

The most difficult challenge is trying to keep the city fiscally sound and still maintain services. The city is sound financially, but with economic times and income dropping, you have to look at ways to keep your infrastructure in good shape. Contract negotiations and budget cuts all have to be taken into consideration when looking towards the future.

Qualifications for This Office:8 yrs on council. I had been in a leadership position as a first-class Petty officer in the Navy Reserve. I worked for 14 yrs in the business community and am a life-long resident raising my own family here. During my first term, I fought for buying Green Ridge Golf Course. It was an important investment for our current and future residents. A beautiful property used for year round recreation and is also a profitable business.

What do you consider the most difficult challenge facing this office and how would you address this challenge?

The economy. We've been cautious with our spending and have tried to be creative in bringing in new revenue without eliminating services or raising taxes
