Qualifications for This Office: I have served on Wickliffe City Council for 17 years, 9 years as the elected council President. Previously employed in the private sector as a manager and administrator for 25 years. The last 10 years I have been employed as Assistant Administrator/HR Manager for the Lake County Commissioners.
What do you consider the most difficult challenge facing this office and how would you address this challenge?
Keeping the City budget in balance while maintaining high level services during these uncertain economic times will be the most difficult challenge. The City must continue to reduce expenses by being more prudent in how funds are spent. We must also find creative ways to increase revenue and funding sources.
