Dedicated to the
interpretation of the natural history of Lake County and features hands-on
exhibits, window on wildlife, 3.5 miles of improved trails, marsh and pond
viewing deck, and a unique waste water treatment system. The Wildlife
Center, dedicated to rehabilitation of wildlife, is located on the property
and offers a close-up look at native species. Open daily

museum of trees and plants encompasses more than 3,100 acres of gardens,
plant collections, woods, ponds, fields and ravines. Holden's mission is to
promote the knowledge and appreciation of plants for personal enjoyment, for
scientific research, and for educational purposes. Horticultural &

Since 1916 the Burroughs Nature Club of Willoughby has been a leader in
conservation throughout the area. All who enjoy nature and the
out-of-doors are cordially invited to join with us -- as individuals or
families.
Monthly meetings featuring fine area natural history and conservation
speakers are held monthly between September and April. Meetings are
proceeded by homestyle dinners - reservations required.
